MALLARD HAVEN
Mallard Haven is a retreat location operated by Haven Ministries. It is for the individual, families, or small
groups to use for a few days, a weekend, or week. A limited amount of facilities are available indoors as well as an abundance of camping areas.
In our ideal setting, individuals and groups alike, can seek refuge from the frantic pace of daily life. Mallard
Haven is sequestered from the outside world for a season of focus, refreshment and restoration. Immersed in the
sights and sounds of nature, the setting lends itself to reading, journaling, and quiet reflection. It is hoped
that our guests will find peace and spiritual renewal in the solitude - away from the distractions of telephone,
radio and television.
Mallard Haven seeks to provide an atmosphere where Christians can leave behind the everyday stresses of life,
relax, and reflect on their walk with God. We strive to make it the perfect mix of positive self-discovery and
self-directed outdoor activities. We offer opportunities for reflection and relaxation. A supportive, natural
environment provides an ambience for contemplative practice, creativity, and nurturing the spirit within. A
limited amount of facilities are available indoors as well as an abundance of camping area. A small fishing
pond is adjacent to the cabin as well as numerous hiking trails through the thickly wooded areas.
MALLARD HAVEN provides Christian hospitality, inviting reverence for God, all people, and the natural
environment. Persons of all faith traditions and others sincerely seeking God are welcome.
